This weekend we were in Las Rozas de Madrid, attending the Revive la Historia…de Cine, organized by the Codex Belix Association.
Members of Poland First to Fight displayed uniforms of the Polish Police prior to the German invasion in 1939, of the Polish forces in North Africa in the period 1941-43, of the Armia Krajowa during the Warsaw Uprising in 1944, of the Independent Paratrooper Brigade in Arnhem 1944, and of the Polish-Russian War of 1919-1920.
We also displayed the following Roll Up exhibits:
- The Polish Police from its origins to the present. (Provided by the Liaison Officer of the Polish Police in Spain, Major Karolina Gablicka-Bak.)
- 100 years of women in the Polish Police. (Provided by the Liaison Officer of the Polish Police in Spain, Major Karolina Gablicka-Bak.)
- 1920, The Battle of Warsaw, the Polish victory that saved the freedom of Europe. (Provided by the Polish Defense Attaché in Spain, Colonel Robert Tkaczyk)
- Poland in the 2nd World War.
The event was attended by the Liaison Officer of the Polish Police in Spain, Major Karolina Gablicka-Bak, who also participated in the tribute ceremony “to the fallen in defence of peace”.
